Lois M. Sutton Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Lois M. Sutton Age 89, of Algonac, MI. passed away February 9, 2013. She was born in her family home on Tripp Rd. China, MI. She is survived by her brothers, Earl Tripp of Fl. and Lloyd Tripp of TN., sister Helen Draves of Port Huron, MI., sons Rory (Donna) Sutton, Alan (Barbara) Sutton, Mike (Candis) Sutton, and Kerry (Mauri) Sutton, grandchildren Cory Sutton, Jennifer (Jeff) Vercammen, Chris Sutton, Alana Sutton, Brandalynn (Nick) MacDonald, and Brian Hathaway, 6 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert M. Sutton, and brothers Charles Tripp and Robert Tripp. As a young woman, Lois worked for Detroit Edison and later Librarian at Gilbert Jr. High and in the adult education program at the Nike Base. She had a passion for reading and children, and loved her time at the Library. An avid Tiger and Redwing Fan, she never missed a game. She loved feeding the birds and even the squirrels, as long as they stayed on the ground. A celebration of Mrs. Sutton's life will be held from 6-9 PM Wednesday February 13, 2013, with a memorial service at 7:00 PM, in the Gilbert Funeral Home, Algonac.
