Ada Lou Smith's Obituary
Ada L. (née Studley) Smith, beloved mother, grandmother, GG, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully on June 3, 2025, at the age of 89.
Born on December 16, 1935, Ada lived a life defined by love, generosity, and unwavering devotion to her family. She is survived by her devoted daughter, Mickey Smith; her cherished grandchildren Amy(Nick), Mandy, Joey, and Andrew; her sisters Laurie and Tish; brothers Larry and George(Sharon); many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and a large, loving circle of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. She also leaves behind her beloved fur baby, Chloe.
Ada was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Smith; and her sons, Billy and Michael, whom she held close to her heart every day.
Family was everything to Ada. She delighted in caring for all the children in her life—whether it was snow days, sick days, or just dropping by for a visit, her door was always open and her heart always full. She loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren dearly and had a special bond with her nieces and nephews, always ready with a kind word or a warm hug.
Ada also enjoyed quiet moments, especially when she had a paintbrush in hand or a good book to escape into. Her gentle spirit, deep wisdom, and loving presence will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
She is now reunited with her beloved husband and sons and rests in peace, surrounded by the love she gave so freely in life.
