Annie E. Bessette
Age 89 of Algonac died January 16, 2007 in her home. She was born September 12, 1917 in Port Lambton, Ontario, Canada. She married Albert E. Bessette on August 21, 1937 in Dresdan, Ontario, he died December 17, 1989. She was a member of the St. Catherines Church Choir.
Survived by Daughter Beverly (Jay) Carr and Shirley Verniers. Brother Clifford Johnston and 3 Grandchildren, 11 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great Great Grandchildren. Predeceased by a Granddaughter, a Sister and 2 Brothers.
Funeral services 11:00 AM Saturday, January 20, 2007 in the St. Catherines Catholic
Church, Algonac. Fr. Timothy Birney will officiate. Burial will be in the St. Catherines Cemetery.
Visitation hours are 6:00 to 9:00 PM Thursday and 1:00 to 4:00 & 6:00 to 9:00 PM Friday in the Gilbert Funeral Home, Algonac. 10:30 AM Saturday until time of Mass at St. Catherines Church.
