Benjamin Bates
age 86 of Clay Twp., MI. died December 24, 2014 in his home. He was born February 4, 1928 in Centerline, MI. He married Joyce E. Cascadden on August 21, 1954 in Cookstown, Ont. Canada.
Mr. Bates served with the U. S. Navy during the Korean Conflict.
Mr. Bates is survived by his wife Joyce, children Debra (Carl) Beauvais, Brenda (Lonnie Glenn) Coomer, Patricia (Arthur) Coomer, Diane (Dennis) Bogan, and Thomas (Kimberly) Bates, 15 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
Private Memorial Services have been held. Arrangements by the Gilbert Funeral Home, Algonac.
