Brian A. Cuthbertson's Obituary
Brian A. Cuthbertson age 71 of Algonac, MI. passed away December 11, 2022, in his home. He was born February 5, 1951, in Detroit, MI to the late Andrew and Elaine (Yerger) Cuthbertson.
Brian graduated from Algonac High School in 1969 and received his bachelor's degree from Central Michigan University in 1975. He was an active substitute teacher for the Algonac Schools system for many years. At a young age and alongside his father, Brian began working on boats at the Cuthbertson's Marina in Pearl Beach, MI. He eventually took over the business and specialized in marine engine repair. Brian was a member, and former Member of the Board of Directors, of the Algonac/Clay Twp. Historical Society.
Mr. Cuthbertson is survived by his daughter Amanda (Lucas) Onderdonk, sisters Patricia Plumb and Bonnie (Mark) Fournier, and nephews Aaron Plumb, Corey Plumb, and Kevin Cuthbertson. He was preceded death by a son Andrew Cuthbertson and a sister Maureen Watson.
