Carl R. Bishop
age 76 of Harsens Island, MI. passed away October 16, 2015 in his home. He was born August 9, 1939, to the late Fred and Ann Bishop, in Detroit, MI.
Carl retired from the Ford Motor Co. after 30 years of service. He was a loved father, grandfather, uncle, and friend to many.
Mr. Bishop is survived by his children Carl (Kimberly) Bishop, Therese (Bishop) Myers, Kevin Bishop, and Michael Bishop, step-children Vince (Laura) Gonzales, Steven (Lora) Gonzales, and Tony (Sue) Gonzales, 11 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren, and a niece and nephew. He was preceded in death by a brother Ronald Bishop.
A celebration of life will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday November 21, 2015 at the Harsens Island Lions Club, 230 LaCroix Rd. Harsens Island, MI. 48028. The Mass Intention will be said at 10:00AM Sunday November 22, 2015 in the Our Lady on the River Parish St. Mark’s Catholic Church, Harsens Island. Memorial donations may be made to St. Mark’s Catholic Church. Arrangements by the Gilbert Funeral Home, Algonac, MI.
