Charles A. "Chuck" DeCaussin's Obituary
Charles A. "Chuck" DeCaussin, age 83, of Clay Twp., passed away at home November 8, 2025 surrounded by his loving family. He was born July 4, 1942 in Harrison Twp. to the late Harold and Hazel DeCaussin.
He married Lena Terrasi in 1967 and she preceded him in death on February 1, 2001.
On November 22, 2003 he married Judy and they have enjoyed 21 loving years together.
He proudly served with the U.S. Army from 1964 to 1966. After his time in the service, he went on to work for Chrysler for many years and retired in 2000.
Chuck was a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles in Ira Twp. for many years.
He enjoyed working with his hands, doing woodworking projects and other crafts to share with family and friends. He also enjoyed helping others with their home improvement projects. Chuck cherished his time after retirement camping and traveling with Judy and his time spent with his children and grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife; Judy DeCaussin and his children; Charles (Shawna) DeCaussin and step-son; Steven Langford. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren (with one on the way).
Chuck was preceded in death by his daughter; Sheryl Teschler.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Ira Twp. on Saturday, November 22 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. Private family inurnment will be held at a later date at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly, Michigan.
