Charles B. "Chuck" Polito's Obituary
Charles B. "Chuck" Polito, age 61, of Clay Twp., passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on August 24, 2024. He was born September 20, 1962 in Algonac to the late Charles and Florence Polito. He married Dulcie Mae Schram on July 10, 1982 in Algonac. Chuck worked as a local carpenter, working mainly in Algonac and Harsens Island. He had many regular customers who counted on him to fix and improve their homes. He and Dulcie worked side by side for many years. He had a passion for hunting, fishing and spending time outdoors. Most of all he enjoyed his time spent with his family, especially his sons and grandchildren. He was a kind, generous, trustworthy, honest, loving man who always thought of others before himself. He is survived by his loving wife; Dulcie Polito, sons; Chuck (Laura) Polito and Joe (Holly) Polito. He is also survived by his grandchildren; Joey, Addie, Maxx, and Vive, as well as his brothers; Dave Polito and Anthony Polito, and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his brother; Joe Polito. A memorial service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 7 at Young-Gilbert Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Algonac.
