Charles Clyde Harrington Jr's Obituary
Charles “Charley” Harrington Jr. of Clay Twp., MI passed away, September 4, 2023, in his home. He was born November 4, 1952, in St. Clair, MI to the late Charles Sr. and Betty Jane (Miller) Harrington. He married Diane Elizabeth Parsons on October 3, 1975, in Macomb, MI.
Charley graduated from Algonac High School in 1970. He was a truck driver for D & K Service having retired in September 2022. He was very proud of the fact that he had over 50 years’ experience driving truck.
Charley loved spending time with his adoring grandchildren and family. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed being in the outdoors. He took great pride in caring for his vehicles.
Mr. Harrington is survived by his wife Diane, children Charles (Erin) Harrington III and Sandra (Sam) Dobbs, grandchildren Garrett Harrington, Alayna Harrington, Jenna Dobbs, Kylie Dobbs, and Brenden Harrington, siblings Mary Avers, Nancy Johnson, Rose Hart, Lynn Morton, and Beverly Buckman. He was preceded in death by siblings Gloria McKeown, Howard Morton, and Wayne Harrington.
In staying with Charley’s wishes no services are scheduled. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to the Young-Gilbert Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc. Algonac, MI.
