Christina Anne Hopkins' Obituary
Christina Anne (Pruss) Hopkins age 76 of Royal Oak, MI passed away January 15, 2025 in the Corewell Health Hospital Royal Oak. She was born October 20, 1948 in Detroit, MI to the late Norbert J. and Georgianna E. F. (Williams) Pruss.
Christina was a devoted Child of God, loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and dear friend. She found her joy in life by serving the Lord and spending time with her family and friends. She was our guiding light and moral compass. Forever to be loved and missed by all who knew her.

Chris is survived by her children Keri (Jerry) Sparger, Kellie (James) Upton, Kenny (Angela) Hopkins, and Kristi (Jennifer) Felix, grandchildren Alexis (Anthony) Upton, Jordyn (Ashleigh) Sparger, James (Amanda) Upton, Kayla (Caleb) Sherman, Garrett (Abby) Sparger, Ethan (Chloe) Hopkins, Nevada (Colten) Hopkins, Maya Felix, Lily Felix, and Maizie Mangiapane, great grandchildren Edie, Emmett, Eloise, she was eagerly anticipating the arrival of Blair her 4th great grandchild, siblings Anna (Scott) Pruss Pfromm, Norbert (Susan) Pruss, honorary sister and mother’s namesake Georgiann (Tim) Griffin, nieces and nephews Sara (Dan), Derek, Justin (Ashley), Bobby (Mandy), and Brad (Julie), and many great nieces and nephews, and dear friends. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter Briana Mangiapane.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements entrusted to the Young Gilbert Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Algonac, MI.
