Claude "C.F." Freeman Sailor's Obituary
Claude "C.F." Sailor age 72 of Algonac, MI. passed away March 27, 2021 in the Ascension St. John River District Hospital, E. China Twp., MI. He was born October 20, 1948 in Louisville, KY to the late Freeman and Madolyn (nee Keller) Sailor. He married Theresa Sailor on August 14. 2004 in Louisville.
C.F. was a long-time member of the Unity of Louisville Church. He owned and operated the American Recycling Company for over 37 years. He was a member of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention and a long-time member of Alcoholics Anonymous. He enjoyed camping, traveling, and spending time with his family, children, and grandchildren. He also enjoyed attending antique and classic car shows, gardening, going to flea markets, and attending outdoor concerts.
Mr. Sailor is survived by his wife Theresa, step-children Diana (Bill) Siegel and Christine Domanski, grandchildren Susan Sear, Stephen Sear, and Benjamin Siegel, sisters Jane (Tom) Morton, Sara (Jeff) Herring, and Marge (Bob) Gold. He was preceded in death by a sister June Ames and a step-son Vincent Winkler.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 2:00 "? 6:30 PM with a memorial service at 2:30 PM Sunday April 11, 2021 at the Algonac Lions Hall, 1905 Mill St. Algonac, MI. 48001. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Family Wishes c/o Gilbert Funeral Home Inc., C.F. Sailor, PO Box 387, Algonac, MI. 48001.
