Cora Jean Fisher's Obituary
Cora Jean Fisher age 87 of Algonac, MI. passed away February 16, 2022 in her home. She was born May 11, 1934 in Gladstone, MI. to the late Louis Martin and Margaret (Callahan) Van Damme. She married Conan E. Fisher Jr. on April 27, 1957 in Gladstone.
Cora was a member of the St. Catherines Ladies Guild, Algonac-Clay Twp. Historical Society, and she was a founding member of the Algonac Art Fair.
Mrs. Fisher is survived by her husband Conan, children Patrick C. (Martha) Fisher, Cindy J. (Rick) Hornbaker, and Paul L. (Kathy) Fisher, grandchildren Ricky Hornbaker II, Robin (Brad) Hill, Renee Hornbaker, Megan (Joe Franzoni) Fisher, Lauren (Jake) Mathieu, Christopher Fisher, Timothy Fisher, and Michael Fisher, great grandchildren Riley Hill, Lilly Hill, and Gavin Hill, siblings Patsy McCarthy, Claire (Charles) Burton, Paul Van Damme, and Richard (Carol) Van Damme. She was preceded in death by a sister and brother-in law Mary Lou and Robert Ritter, and in-laws James McCarthy, and Christine Van Damme.
Mrs. Fisher will be instate at 10:00 AM, with mass at 11:00 AM, Monday February 21, 2022 in Our Lady of River Parish St. Catherine's Catholic Church Algonac. Visitation 2:00 "? 6:00 PM Sunday in the Gilbert Funeral Home, Algonac, MI. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Family Wishes.
