Dale Edward Oland's Obituary
Dale Edward Oland, age 70, of Harsens Island, passed away June 20, 2026, with his loving family by his side. He was born March 6, 1956, in Lapeer to the late Edward and Ethel Oland.
He married Vicky Daley on February 6, 1982, at Holy Innocents Catholic Church, Roseville.
Dale Oland was a devoted husband, loving father, cherished grandfather, and faithful follower of Jesus Christ. Family was the center of his life, and he shared a deep and enduring love with his wife, Vicky. Together, they built a life rooted in faith, family, and commitment. Dale loved his children with his whole heart and took immense pride in his grandchildren, whose lives brought him tremendous joy and purpose.
Dale dedicated many years as an ironworker and was a proud member of Iron Workers Local 25. He was known for his strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to help anyone in need. The lessons he learned through hard work and perseverance shaped the example he set for his family and friends.
A man of deep faith, Dale loved Jesus and lived his life with a servant's heart. His faith guided his actions, his relationships, and the way he cared for those around him.
Dale found happiness in life's simple pleasures—fishing on a quiet morning, cooking for family and friends, spending time at the lake, and enjoying the beauty of nature. He was rarely idle and was known affectionately as "Mr. Fix-It." Whether he was building, repairing, tinkering, or tackling a new project, Dale was always working with his hands and helping others. He found satisfaction in creating, improving, and solving problems, and there wasn't much he couldn't fix.
Above all else, Dale will be remembered for the love he gave so freely. He was the kind of man who showed up for his family, worked hard, loved deeply, and placed his faith in God. His legacy lives on through Vicky, his children, his grandchildren, and all those whose lives were enriched by his kindness, wisdom, and unwavering devotion.
He will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever held in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
