Darrin Allen Kaatz age 55 of Clay Twp., MI. passed away August 31, 2021 in Mt. Clemens, MI. He was born January 21, 1966 in St. Clair, MI. to the late August and Marion (nee Erdman) Kaatz. He married Amy Sue Pettke on December 3, 1987 in Marine City, MI.
Darrin was employed by Chrysler Corp. Warren Stamping.
Mr. Kaatz is survived by his wife Amy, children Ryan Kaatz, Devin Kaatz, and Owen Kaatz, mother-in-law Nancy Bache, father-in-law Ron (Dee) Pettke, siblings Cheryl (Roy) Smith, Connie (Roger) Kierszykowski, Marvin (Alba) Kaatz, and Brenda (John) Highstreet, a sister-in-law Terrie Kaatz, a brother-in-law Frank (Wendy) Pettke., and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother Gary Kaatz.
A celebration of life will be held from 5:00 to 11:00 PM, with a memorial service at 6:00 PM, Friday September 10, 2021 at the Algonac Lions Club 1905 Mill St. Algonac, MI. 48001. Memorial donations may be made to the Family Wishes. Arrangements by the Gilbert Funeral Home, Algonac.
