David Allen Black's Obituary
David Allen Black age 72 of Chesterfield Twp., MI. passed away May 2, 2020 in the McLaren Macomb Hospital. He was born December 26, 1947 in Mt. Clemens, MI. to the late William and Ruth (nee Peltier) Black. He married Cheryl Ann Bockenstette on September 6, 1969 in St. Clair Shores, MI.
Dave retired from the Ford Motor Company in 2007 after 31 years of service as a Welder/Millwright. He enjoyed demo derby's, Ice racing, snowmobiling, and camping. He had a heavy love for his wife of over 50 years Cheryl, his children and grandchildren, and friends.
Mr. Black is survived by his wife Cheryl, children Tina Weber and Jeff (Angela) Black, grandchildren Dylan Black, Lily Black, Ayden Weber, Logan Weber, and Leila Weber. He was preceded in death by his siblings Bobby, Jimmy, Bill Jr., Ruth, Phyllis, Vivian and Esther.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements by the Gilbert Funeral Home, Algonac. MI.
