David Carl Stieler's Obituary
David Carl Stieler age 66 of Clay Twp., MI. passed away November 15, 2022, in his home surrounded by loved ones. He was born September 21, 1956, in Detroit, MI.
Dave was a 1974 Algonac High School Graduate and received his bachelor's degree from Oakland University in 1978.
He started his working career with GM Corp, followed by ITT Automotive, and Avon Automotive.
Dave always had a project in the works, tinkering with his boats, cars, and home renovations. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and playing with his grandchildren.
Dave is survived by his children Kristin (Brian) Honold, Brian (Lauren) Stieler, and Kelly (Chris) Custer, grandchildren Parker Honold, Everett Honold, Lilah Stieler, and Lennox Stieler, parents Carl and Evie (Fjerestad) Stieler, siblings Kathy (Brian) Pelepchan, Bill Stieler, Don Stieler, and C.J. (Kim) Stieler, dear friend Rhonda Anderson, canine companion Lulu and his feline companion Pearl.
Visitation 2-4 & 6-8 PM Sunday November 20, 2022.in the Gilbert Funeral Home, Algonac, MI.
Funeral service 11:00 AM Monday November 21, 2022, at Saint Peters Lutheran Church, Ira Township, MI. Burial will be in the Oaklawn Cemetery, Clay Twp.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the animal shelter of the donor's choice in Dave's memory.
