David Vernon Tabor's Obituary
David Vernon Tabor age 71 of Algonac, MI passed away September 5, 2023, in the Medilodge of St. Clair. He was born October 27, 1951, in Mt. Clemens, MI to the late Vernon and Mary (Nahdee) Tabor. He married Freda F. One Road December 23, 1975, in Lawrence, KS.
Mr. Tabor served 6 years as a Staff Sargent with US Army.
David is survived by his wife Freda, children Danielle (Major) Sands, Melissa Tabor, and Nikki (Eric Clary) Tabor, grandchildren Joshua (Brittney Carbone) Tabor, Mattea Tabor, Nicholas Tabor, Amira Sands, Chaske Sands, Syncia Sands, Oakis Sands, Shelby Sands, Enahpe Sands, Gabriel Pastor, Lucille Pastor, and Kingston Pastor, great grandchildren Hudson, Koa, Kai, Valley, and Winter, and a brother John “Johnny” Tabor. He was preceded in death by a brother William “Willie” Tabor.
Funeral service 1:00 PM, with military honors presentation at 1:20 PM, Monday September 11, 2023, in the Young-Gilbert Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc. Algonac, MI. Visitation 10:00 AM Monday until time of service.
Canadian funeral arrangements being entrusted to the Cavanagh Funeral Home Wallaceburg, On, Canada will consist of visitation held at the Walpole Island Envangelistic Centre on Wednesday, September 13, 2023, from 11am until the time of the funeral services at 1pm. Followed by burial at Highbanks Cemetery.
