David J. Vigliotti's Obituary
David J. Vigliotti age 84 of Lapeer, MI and formerly of Algonac, MI. died September 19, 2019 in his home. He was born May 8, 1935 in Detroit, MI. to the late John and Mina (nee Spietz) Vigliotti. He married Evelyn A. Humes June 16, 1956 in St. Catherines Catholic Church, Algonac.
Dave was a life member and past president of the Algonac Lions Club. He enjoyed fishing, bowling, golfing, and spending time with his family. He sailed with the Interlake Steamship Co.
Mr. Vigliotti is survived by his wife Evelyn, children Dawn (Mark) Pasella, John Vigliotti, Joann (Kenneth) Provost, and Denise Vigliotti Smith, grandchildren Kristine (Karl) Wyatt, Kourtney (Joshua) Stampfly, Tina (Craig) Boser, Kelly (Bob) Stickel, Jacqueline (Chad) Kinjorski, Kenneth (Ashlee) Provost, Michael (Lynsie) Provost, Tyler Smith, and Kaitlyn Smith, siblings Joan (the late Louis) Mensen, Judy Vigliotti, Diane (Dr. Jerry) Fagelman, Michael (Kathy) Vigliotti, 9 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 12:00 noon Thursday September 26, 2019 at the Gilbert Funeral Home, Algonac. Visitation Thursday 10:00 AM until time of service. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Family Wishes or to the Donor's Choice.
