Deidra Stephenson's Obituary
Algonac, MI – Deidra Stephenson, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on September 18, 2025, just one day shy of her 69th birthday. 'Dee' was known by all as one who loved to laugh and could find humor in almost every circumstance.
Born on September 19, 1956, to Hans and Virginia Reimann, Deidra grew up with a strong sense of family, compassion, and resilience that remained with her throughout her life. Dee graduated from Anchor Bay High School in 1974. She married her high school sweetheart, Tim Stephenson. A longtime resident of Algonac, Michigan, she was deeply rooted in her community and cherished the simple joys of life surrounded by those she loved. She had a strong faith in God and now rests peacefully with her Savior, Jesus Christ.
Deidra is survived by her daughters Amy (Todd) Bartley and Alexis Stephenson, her grandchildren Matthew, Kyla, Justin, Savanna, Isabella, and Krystal, her siblings Heidi (Troy) Fellers, Eric Reimann, Andrea (Tom) Carrasco, and Kyla (Ron) Stach.
Deidra is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Timothy Stephenson Sr.; her cherished son, Timothy Stephenson Jr.; her parents, Hans and Virginia Reimann; and her in-laws, Robert and Mary Ann Stephenson.
Deidra’s humor, kindness, quiet strength, and generous spirit touched all who knew her.
A celebration of life will be held at Young-Gilbert Funeral Home. Visitation is on Sunday, Nov. 2nd at 3:00-6:00pm at Young - Gilbert Funeral Home, Algonac. Mass will be held on Monday, Nov. 3rd at 11:00am at St. Catherine's Church, Algonac. Processional will be immediately following.
