Dolly J. Uhl's Obituary
Dolly J. Uhl, age 85, of Algonac, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on February 28, 2026 in the comfort of her own home. She was born on January 19, 1941 to the late Floyd and Judy Sharp. She married Brian Uhl on May 26, 1962 who preceded her in death on March 10, 1985. In her spare time, Dolly enjoyed the challenge of crossword puzzles, and found peace in reading. She cherished the time she spent with her family. Dolly and her family spent countless hours together playing various card and board games. She took great pride in being a mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. And her devotion, selflessness, and generous heart will forever be missed.
She is survived by her daughters, Linda Uhl, Gail Jolly; grandchildren, Courtney (Paul), Heather (Allan), Austin, Kendra; great grandchildren, Blake and Rose; sister, Beverly Guitar.
She is preceded in death by her son, Stephen Uhl, and son-in-law, Rich Jolly.
A funeral service will take place on Monday, March 9th at 11:00 a.m. at Young-Gilbert Funeral Home, Algonac. Visiting hours will be on Sunday, March 8th from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. as well as one hour prior to the service on Monday.
