Donald William Ishmael's Obituary
Donald William Ishmael, age 86, of Clinton Twp., passed away July 8, 2023. He was born July 30, 1936 in Roseville.
Don led a wonderful life. Raised and attended school on Harsens Island, played in a band with his father and brothers and were very popular at local venues and weddings. He created his special place “ISHISLE”, where his jam sessions were held, ice golf outings and family and friends made lifetime memories. Don retired from General Dynamics in 1994 following 38 years of employment. He will be sorely missed, but has left everyone he touched with a laugh and a smile!
Don is survived by his wife of 64 years, Mary Lou; children, Donald Jr. (Debbie) and Debbi; grandchildren, Ryan (Alicia), Garret, Nicole and Sean and great grandson, Kevin.
A memorial service will be held Sunday August 13th at 1:00 p.m. at Young-Gilbert Funeral Home, Algonac. Visitation 12-1 p.m. prior to service. www.younggilbertfuneralhome.com
