Donald J. Janefski age 75 of Clay Twp., MI passed away May 17, 2023 in the Ascension St. John Hospital Detroit. He was born September 26, 1947 in Detroit, MI to the late Joseph and Evelyn (Pinch) Janefski.
Don loved spending time with his family. He enjoyed working outdoors doing yard work and helping his neighbors whenever he could.
Mr. Janefski is survived by daughters Tracy DeCaussin, son-in-law Richard DeCaussin, Dina Janefski, and Julianne (Craig) Waelens, grandchildren Joe (Nakita) DeCaussin, Jenay DeCaussin, Jonathan Waelens, and Matthew Waelens, former spouse Janel Wonsowicz, sister-in-law Marcella Gurnow, nephews John (Cathy) Gurnow, and Ron (Amy) Gurnow, and niece Cheryl (Tom) Langewicz. He was preceded in death by his twin sister Donna Janefski, and brother John Gurnow.
Visitation 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, with Funeral Services at 1:00 PM, Sunday May 21, 2023, in the Young-Gilbert Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Algonac, MI.
