Dorothy Anna Stokes age 71 of Algonac, MI. died November 2, 2018 in her home. She was born May 23, 1947 in Hamtramck, MI. to the late George I. and Charlotte L. (nee Rutkowski) Popowski. She married William "Bill" Stokes on July 31, 1965 in Algonac, he died May 1, 2015.
Dorothy is survived by her children Kim (Al) White, Bill (Lisa) Stokes Jr., and Theresa (B.J.) Bourlier, a sister Shirley Cramer, 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held from 1-4 PM Saturday December 1, 2018 in the Seafarers International Union Hall, 520 St. Clair River Drive, Algonac, MI. 48001. Arrangements by the Gilbert Funeral Home, Algonac.
