Esther J. LaPonsa
age 88 of Algonac, MI. died June 20, 2014 in the St. Johns River District Hospital. She was born March 22, 1926 in Algonac. She married Arthur M. LaPonsa on December 5, 1942 in Algonac, he died May 14, 2000.
Esther is survived by her children Rebecca (Thomas) Durik and Hope Dudley, 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son Gary LaPonsa.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday June 24, 2014 in the Gilbert Funeral Home, Algonac. Visitation 1-4 & 6-9 PM Monday. Burial will be in the Oaklawn Cemetery, Algonac. Memorial donations may be made to the Family Wishes.
