age 102 of Algonac, MI. passed away February 28, 2014. She was born December 24, 1911 in Detroit, MI. She was preceded in death by her husband Rene on May 15, 1990.
Mrs. DeMercy is survived by her daughter Dorothy (Richard) Krause, grandchildren Kevin (Barbara) Lonergan, Michael (Darlene) Lonergan, and Brian (Brenda) Lonergan, and 7 great grandchildren.
Mrs. DeMercy will be instate at 10:30 AM Tuesday March 4, 2014 with Mass at 11:00 AM in the Our Lady On the River Parish St. Catherines Catholic Church, Algonac. Visitation 1-4 & 6-9 PM Monday in the Gilbert Funeral Home, Algonac. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 PM Monday in the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the Family Wishes.
