Frances A. (nee Stokes) Fougnie
age 82 of Port Huron, MI. and formerly of Algonac, MI. went to be with the lord March 29, 2014 in the Port Huron Mercy Hospital. She was born December 20, 1931 in Algonac.
Frances loved music, singing Karaoke, playing bingo, and going to the casino.
Mrs. Fougnie is survived by her children Carol Fye, Richard (Carol) Dafoe, Connie (Clayton) Smith, Barbara (Billy Piper) Atkins, and James (Joey) Atkins, a sister Patricia Hopkins, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband Clifford Fougnie, children Sharon Dupee and Ronald Dafoe, siblings Thomas Stokes, Herbert Stokes, Robert Stokes, Art Stokes, and Joan Closs.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 Noon Wednesday April 2, 2014 in the Gilbert Funeral Home, Algonac. Visitation Wednesday 10:00 AM until time of service. Memorial donations may be made to the Family Wishes.
