Frances Theresa Rose
age 87 formerly of Alpena, MI. died August 4, 2013 in the Village of East Harbor nursing home. She was born April 27, 1926 in Detroit, MI. She married George Rose on May 1, 1948 in Anchorville, MI., he died June 19, 2010.
Frances was employed by the DNR in Alpena in the late 1980's and 1990's and was affectionately known as the "Fish Lady".
Mrs. Rose is survived by her children Chris Rose, Cynthia (Thomas) Maskey, and George (Beverly) Rose, proud grandmother "beegee" of Jennifer (Kenneth) Rogers, Michael Maskey, and Marie (Greg) Lewis, 6 great grandchildren and 1 great nephew.
Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements by the Gilbert Funeral Home, Algonac, MI.
