Francis Allen Soumis' Obituary
Francis “Frank” Soumis age 73 of Algonac, MI passed away November 14, 2024 in his home. He was born May 4, 1951 in Highland Park, MI to the late Joseph and Virginia (Carbonneau) Soumis. He married Cindy H. Ceirpial on August 28, 1981 in Algonac. She passed away July 8, 2015.
Frank was a member of the Iron Workers Local 25. He enjoyed hunting and fishing with his boys and granddaughter, Ava. He loved watching sports on tv like, the Redwings, Lions and Tigers.
Frank is survived by his sons Eric Soumis, Matthew (Whitney) Soumis, and Andrew Soumis, granddaughter Ava Soumis, sisters Ida (Jack) Dodd, and Priscilla (Douglas) Miller, and many nephews.
A memorial mass will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday January 11, 2025, in Our Lady on the River Parish St. Catherines Catholic Church, Algonac. Visitation 10:30 AM Saturday until time of mass. Arrangemens by the Young Gilbert Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., Algonac.
