Gail Lynn Baker-Small's Obituary
Gail Lynn Baker-Small age 71 of Harsens Island, MI. died January 2, 2018 in the St. Johns River District Hospital. She was born September 29, 1946 in Detroit, MI. She married Brian Michael Small Sr. on July 15, 2000 in Redford, MI.
Gail had a long career as a realtor and broker. She loved her life on Harsens Island, being on the water, and gardening. She was a woman of faith, devoted to prayer, her church, family and friends. She enjoyed spending time with loved ones who she was committed to remembering with cards on their birthdays. She appreciated the strength brought by the many prayers and cards she received as she battled cancer.
Gail is survived by her husband Brian Sr., children Tammy Lynne Baker, Stacy Ann (Deborah Ann Eastwood) Baker, Brian Michael (Katie) Small Jr., and Thomas Carl (Michelle) Small, grandchildren Samantha Rae Morrill, Jacob Nicholas Morrill, Jessica Small, Victoria Small, Julianne Small, MacKenzie Small, Justin Small, and Jordan Small, siblings David George Walker and Robert Lewis Walker, 5 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her first husband Cecil Edward Baker Jr., and a brother Daniel Ronald Walker.
A memorial funeral mass will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday June 9, 2018 in the Our Lady on the River Parish St. Marks Catholic Church Harsens Island. Arrangements by the Gilbert Funeral Home, Algonac, MI.
