DEVOTED MOTHER, GRANDMOTHER AND FRIEND
Gail A. Warner 87 of Algonac, MI passed on Friday, October 17, 2025. Gail was born May 25,
1938, in Algonac, Michigan to Neil and Mabel Smith. Gail loved the Algonac area. She loved
to fish with her husband and love to watch the tall ships when they came into town.
Gail married her childhood sweetheart, William (Skip) Warner and the two were each other
‘s lifelong companions and friends. They both were blessed with two children their son,
Timothy Warner and daughter, Lori Warner.
Gail was an avid reader and member of the Algonac historical Society; A den mother to the
Cub Scouts, Brownie leader and Girl Scout leader. She loved to travel, and she loved
spending time with her grandchildren, Galen, Amber and Skyler and her great
granddaughter Maggie. She especially enjoyed her school chums luncheons and her visits
with her dear cousin, Mary North. Many friends and other family members also survive her.
Gail was proceeded in death by her husband, William (Skip) Warner and is survived by her
children Tim (Mary) Warner, Lori (Sonja) Warner, three grandchildren, Galen, Amber, and
Skyler and her great granddaughter Maggie along with her brother Tom and sister-in-law,
Sue Smith.
