age 100 of Clay Twp., MI. died December 7, 2016 in the St. Johns River District Hospital. He was born November 16, 1916 in Avrig, Romania.
George was a WW II U.S. Army Veteran.
Mr. Burgess is survived by his son George N. (Paula), grandchildren George T., Karen Burgess-Blair, and David, great grandchildren George R., Jillian, Grace Blair, Jane Blair, Josh, Ben, and Jessica.
A memorial mass will be celebrated at 11:30 AM Thursday December 22, 2016 in the Our Lady on the River Parish St. Catherines Catholic Church, Algonac. Memorial donations may be made to the Algonac-Clay Historical Society.
