Glenda Murray Bertram's Obituary
Glenda Murray Bertram, age 73, formerly of Algonac, MI, passed away peacefully, with her children by her side, August 9, 2025 in the Medilodge of Yale. She was born January 15, 1952 in Mt. Clemens, MI to the late James M. and Norah C. (Steenhoven) Rummel. She married Timothy Ross Bertram on March 4, 1972 in Algonac. He passed away April 26, 2004.
Glenda was a 1971 graduate of Algonac High School. She was an avid horseback rider and enjoyed all animals, especially her dog Sophie. She had a compassionate heart and was always there to help family members or friends in their times of need.
Mrs. Bertram is survived by her son David (Joanne) Bertram, daughter Norah (John) Harding, grandchildren Wyatt Bertram, Sasha Bertram, and Audrey Harding, brother Graham (Donna) Rummel, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister Gail VanReyendam.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday August 17, 2025, with visitation from 1:00 to 3:00 PM Sunday, in the Young Gilbert Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Algonac.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations are suggested to the Accent Care Hospice, 27355 John R. Rd. Madison Heights, MI 48071
