Grant Harold McGeachy's Obituary
Grant Harold McGeachy age 87 of Clay Twp., MI. passed away October 10, 2022, in the Medilodge of St. Clair. He was born November 10, 1934, in Lake Twp., MI. to the late Grant and Bessie (Maxwell) McGeachy. He married Patricia Geraldine Krantz on August 25, 1962, in Marine City, MI.
Grant served with the US Marine Corp in Korea during the Korean War and later was stationed in Germany. He retired from the General Motors Pontiac plant in 1995 after 30 years of service.
Mr. McGeachy is survived by his wife Patricia, children Lynne (Melvin) VanDerwald and Mark Arnold McGeachy, siblings Marilyn Worley, Shirley (Lynn) Simons and Paul (Mary) McGeachy, 3 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by sons Grant Harold McGeachy III, and Scott Edward McGeachy, brother James McGeachy, and twin brothers Llyod McGeachy and Floyd McGeachy.
In staying with Grant's wishes there will be no services. Cremation arrangements by the Gilbert Funeral Home, Algonac, MI.
