Gregory Jon Hawkins' Obituary
Gregory Jon Hawkins age 71 of Algonac, MI. passed away April 10, 2021 in his home. He was born August 21, 1949 in Hazel Park, MI. to the late Leonard and Cecelia (nee McWhennie) Hawkins.
Gregory served with the U S Army during the Vietnam War.
Mr. Hawkins is survived by his sister Janice (Sid) Hofmann, nephews Jeffrey (Tammy) Hofmann and Marc Hawkins, niece Lisa (Ahmad) Darakhsha, great nephews Josh (Hailey) Darakhsha, Jeffrey Darakhsha, Paul Lugosky, Cody Hofmann, Michael (Sarah) Radatz, great niece Destine Garska, and dear friends Karen (Jeff) Pangborn, Bianca Brigolin, and Bryanna Brigolin.
A memorial service, with military honors will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday May, 15, 2021 at the Mt. Clemens City Park, located just east of Gratiot Ave. on First Street between Crocker Blvd and Dickerson St. (behind the fire hall), in Mt. Clemens, MI. Arrangements by the Gilbert Funeral Home, Algonac.
