Gregory Alan Hogert's Obituary
Gregory Alan Hogert age 66, of Algonac, MI. passed away April 29, 2025 in his home surrounded by his family and friends. He was born April 22, 1959 in Detroit, MI to the late Herman and Veronica (Ziolkawski) Hogert.
Greg was a 1977 graduate of Algonac High School, he retired from Mark IV Automotive in 2010. Greg enjoyed sports, playing cards, and spending time with his family and friends. In his younger years he looked forward to his annual pilgrimage to KY to watch the Kentucky Derby.
Greg is survived by his niece Theresa (Nicholas) Hogert-Daugherty, sister-in-law Jody Porter-Gilbert, great nieces Nohealena Daugherty, Veronica Daugherty, and Gianna Ringeisen. He was preceded in death by a brother Terrence Edward Hogert.
Funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM , with visitation from 11:00 AM until time of services, Saturday May 3, 2025 in the Young Gilbert Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Algonac.
