We were so sad to hear about Greg's passing. He attended the fitness class I lead at Anytime Fitness, Algonac. All of us in our group care about one another and loved Greg. He recently was speaking about his quest to finally get healthy. He was looking great. I also went to Algonac High School with Greg and his brother, Mark. We were friends back then. When my husband was suffering cancer, Greg brought my family a huge lasagna, salad, an amazing cake, wine and chocolate. His heart was huge. He attended my church a few times within the past year. He expressed wanting to learn more about God. I am deeply saddened over this loss. God bless his family and friends. Proverbs 3:5 - "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, lean not on your own understanding...." Psalm 34:18 - "God is close to the broken hearted...."

Greg & I were classmates at WSU studying French in the 90??s. We graduated about the same time and then became French teachers. Not only were we part of a small French speaking community, but we were also part of the same tight knit tennis community. I??m sad to see the passing of my colleague and friend. Greg was an amazing person, teacher, coach and friend. We taught French together for many years and it was great to work with such a talented, vivacious and wonderful friend. I met Greg at Wayne State in the early 90??s. I was taking a swim class and he would swim during open hours, we??d see each other. We further became friends through a mutual friend. We all were so young and ready to take on the world and it??s possibilities. It literally seems like yesterday. Life certainly has it??s twists and turns. A friend gone too soon. Till we meet again, Greg.
