Hazel Fay Nestra-Howson
Age 96 of Clay Twp., MI. died November 8, 2012 in the Medilodge of St. Clair. She was born October 7, 1916 in Detroit, MI. She first married William Nestra who died in 1980 and second married Jack Howson who died in 1989.
Hazel was a member of the Oak Grove Colony and a member of the Cherry Beach Senior Citizens.
Mrs. Howson is survived by her children Gary James Nestra, Sharon (Thomas) Felix-Park, and Susan E. (Thomas J.) Annas, a step-daughter Shirley Dennis, sisters Evelyn (Jason) VanDenbosch and Janet Bilodeau, 3 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday November 17, 2012 in the First Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1623 Washington St, Algonac, MI. 48001. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Hurricane Relief Fund. Arrangements by the Gilbert Funeral Home, Algonac.
