Henry "Hank" Joseph Babisz's Obituary
Henry “Hank” Joseph Babisz, age 81, of Clay Twp., went to be with the Lord on August 13, 2024. He was born on December 12, 1942 to the late Ferdinand and Sophie Babisz. Hank graduated from St. Ambrose High School, class of 1960. He married Rosetta Ziegler on August 8, 1964 in St. Patrick, Nebraska. Hank worked as a draftsman for the automotive industry for over 30 years. There was a 5 year-span where he stepped away from his draftsman career to own and operate his own tree business. Hank enjoyed the work outdoors, and it was a job he was talented at. He could trim or cut down any tree, no matter where it was. Even though it was something he enjoyed, Hank decided it was best for his family that he go back into being a draftsman before his retirement. Hank was the jack of all trades, there was nothing he could not fix. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to those who asked. Hank made sure to have all tools necessary, just incase one of his friends or family members needed to borrow it. He was a man who was selfless and put others needs before his own. In his spare time, Hank was an avid outdoorsman. He loved hunting, fishing, boating, and smelt dipping every spring.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Rosetta Babisz; children, Michael Babisz, Shawn Naniewicz, Sandra (Don Volkman) Babisz; grandchildren, Kelsie and Jesse Babisz, Alyssa, Aubree, Lyndsie Naniewicz, Michael Smith; brother, Leonard (Diana) Babisz; sisters in law, Reta Babisz and Shelba Babisz.
He is preceded in death by his daughter, Christine Ann Babisz, granddaughter, Angel Babisz; siblings, Fred Babisz, Bob Babisz, Elaine (David) Wheeler.
