Hope L. Dudley's Obituary
Hope L. Dudley, age 78, of Algonac, passed away September 12, 2025. She was born in St. Clair on April 11, 1947 to the late Arthur and Esther LaPonsa.
She married Kline "Bud" Dudley on December 16, 1972 in Algonac. He preceded her in death on August 31, 2003.
She enjoyed crafting all sorts of decorations for friends and family. Using yarn was her favorite. She bowled in the leagues at The Colony Bowl in Algonac for many years. Most of all she enjoyed her time at home with her family.
She is survived by her daughter; Amy (Mike) Lookliss and grandchildren; Samantha (Josh Moscatello) Lookliss and Victoria (Jason Schwartz) Lookliss.
She is also survived by her sister: Rebecca (Tom) Durik, along with many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her brother; Gary LaPonsa.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, September 22 at Young-Gilbert Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Algonac. Interment will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery, Clay Twp. Visiting hours will be Sunday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Monday from 10:30 to 11:00 a.m. prior to the service.
