I'd like to offer my condolences to Jim's family for their loss. I first met Jim and Brona many years ago when Jim had a bunch of rental houses. I had bought 2 or 3 of them over the years on land contracts, so I would see them every month when I would stop by their house on North River road to give them my payments. Over time I got to know them better and became casual friends. Jim was always working on something interesting, and he would occasionally come and help me with house repair problems. He just seemed to have a smile for me and he knew every aspect of repairing houses and was always willing to help or give me advice. Brona was a whiz on finance and would give me financial advice and tax stratigies to help with my rental business. I will always appreciate them and their willingness to help other people. I hadn't seen Jim since Brona died, but I will miss him.
