James Floyd Carl Williams' Obituary
James Floyd Carl Williams, age 75, of Harsens Island, MI passed away August 11, 2025 in the McLaren Macomb Hospital. He was born January 13, 1950 in Highland Park, MI to the late James and Delia (Iljana) Williams. He married Bonnie Marie Perrault on January 20, 1968 in Utica, MI.
James retired from the Shelby Twp. Police Department as a lieutenant in 2001. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police. After his retirement from the police department, he went on to become a boat captain for the Tashmoo Marine, Harsens Island, until around 2016.
Mr. Williams is survived by his wife Bonnie, children James (Heather) Williams and Jason (Jennifer) Williams, granddaughter Gina Grace. Sisters Carolyn Young, Flora Ludwig, and Anne Kinzer, and several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements by the Young Gilbert Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Algonac, MI.
