Jere Lou Kenney
age 82 of Algonac, MI. passed away unexpectedly at home September 30, 2012. She was born July 25, 1930 in Lansing, MI. She married Jay C. Kenney on December 1, 1951 in Williamston, MI.
Jere was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church of Algonac. She was an avid reader and enjoyed peaceful times at home watching the boats go by on the St. Clair River. She enjoyed cooking and caring for others, and was an avid animal lover.
Mrs. Kenney is survived by her husband Jay, children Kimberly Kenney, Jan (John) Kenney-Space, Melanie (John) Lindsay, and Jeb (Denise) Kenney, grandsons Jeb Kenney and Griffin Kenney.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday October 6, 2012 in the Trinity United Methodist Church of Algonac. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made the Trinity United Methodist Church. Arrangements by the Gilbert Funeral Home, Algonac.
