Jocelyn "Jo" Cukr's Obituary
Jocelyn “Jo” Cukr age 91 of Clay Twp., MI passed away April 23, 2023 in her home. She was born June 25, 1931 in Alexandria, LA to the late James and Rubye (nee Roberts) Harris. She married 1st John Angel Hill on November 19, 1952 in Pinesville, LA, he passed away May 26, 1969. She married 2nd Chester Charles Cukr on July 25, 1965 in Mt. Clemens, MI, he passed away March 13, 2011.
Jo was a life member of the Y Knot boat Club and she was a Lifelong child of God.
Mrs. Cukr is survived by her children James D. Hill, Joseph E. Hill, Judith F. (Brian) Robertson, and Jerry (Tom Ealey) Denton, step-son Robert (Maryanne) Cukr, 16 grandchildren, 3 step-grandchildren and several great grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son John C. Hill, siblings James R. Harris Sr., Iris “Tiny” Harris-Madden, Nel Harris-Pollock, and Marion “Sug” Harris.
A memorial service will be held Saturday April 29, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. at Crossroads Community Church 3631 King Road China, Twp., Michigan 48054.
