John A. Andersen's Obituary
John A. Andersen age 88 of Clay Twp., MI. passed away September 29, 2020 in the Lake Huron Medical Center. He was born April 30, 1932 in Muskegon, MI. to the late Carl and Ila (Umstead) Andersen. He married Frances G. Goderfery on December 24, 1961 in Redford, MI. she passed away December 12, 2001.
John was a U.S. Navy Veteran.
Mr. Andersen is survived by his adopted daughter Amy (Darrin) Kaatz, grandchildren Ryan Kaatz, Devin Kaatz, and Owen Kaatz, and a nephew Greg (Diane) Umstead.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday October 1, 2020 in the Oaklawn Cemetery, Algonac, MI. Memorial donations may be made to the Family Wishes. Arrangements by the Gilbert Funeral Home, Algonac.
