John Franklin Fields' Obituary
John Franklin Fields age 88 of Clay Twp., MI passed away March 8, 2022 in the Ascension St. John Hospital Detroit. He was born April 15, 1933 in Wardell, MO to the late William and Pearl (nee Hardin) Fields.
Staff Sergeant Fields retired from the U S Air Force August 31, 1971. He served with the U S Army from March 21, 1951 until December 29, 1953 (Korean War Veteran). He then served with the U S Air Force from May 12, 1954 until his retirement August 31, 1971 (Vietnam War Veteran).
Mr. Fields is survived by his dear friend and neighbor, of over 60 years, Leroy A. Richards Sr.
Interment will be in the Fort Custer National Cemetery, Augusta, MI. Arrangements by the Gilbert Funeral Home, Algonac, MI.
