Josephine Mary Wesoloski's Obituary
Josephine M. Wesoloski age 81 of Algonac, MI. passed away December 14, 2020 in the Ascension St. Johns Hospital, Detroit. She was born August 24, 1939 in Port Huron, MI. to the late Richard and Mary (nee Marsden) Murphy. She married James John Wesoloski on February 11, 1972 in Algonac.
Josephine was a Licensed Practical Nurse, a teacher's aid at the Woodland Developmental Center for over 30 years, and was a volunteer with the Algonac High School volleyball and track programs. She enjoyed golfing, fishing, tending to her orchids, and butterflies.
Mrs. Wesoloski is survived by her husband James, children Katherine "Kelly" (Erik) Parker, Mary "Jessie" (Edward) Panczyk, and James "Jim" (Suzanne) Wesoloski, daughter of the heart Karen (Billy Burgett) Reynolds, grandchildren Andrew Ruppel, Anna (Maurice) Livingston, Nathan Wesoloski, Daniel Hernandez, and Gabriel Hernandez, brothers Richard "Bud" (Melodie) Murphy, Marsden "Mike" (Julia) Murphy, and Thomas (the late Penny) Murphy. She was preceded in death by a grandson Jonathan Wesoloski, and a sister and brother-in-law Alice and Tony Lewandoski.
A memorial funeral mass will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday May 1, 2021 in the St. Mary's Queen of Creation Catholic Church 50931 Maria St. New Baltimore, MI. 48047. Family members will begin receiving family and friends at 9:30 AM prior to the mass.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in memory of Josephine Wesoloski, are suggested to the St. Clair RESA, c/o Woodland Developmental Center, PO Box 1500, 499 Range Rd. Marysville, MI. 48040.
