Karen Sarah Funk's Obituary
Karen Sarah Funk age 71 of Clay Twp., MI passed away November 10, 2019 in her home. She was born July 12, 1948 in Detroit, MI. to the late Wallace and Lillian (nee Caliguri) Burgess.
Karen was a cashier at the Algonac/Clay Twp., Kroger store for over 20 years.
Ms. Funk is survived by her son Michael (Jessica) Funk, granddaughter Khloe Funk, siblings Wally Burgess, Mark Burgess, Perry Burgess, and Patricia Upton-Kabot, and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. Also survived by dear friends Darlene Ellis, Lori Burgess, and Carol Weagle.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday November 16, 2019 in the Gilbert Funeral Home, Algonac, MI. Visitation Saturday 10:00 AM until time of services. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Family Wishes.
