Our deepest condolences to Darlene, Shirley, Brownie, Roger, Rick, and all of the extended Blanton family. I'm sending our love and prayers to all of you on behalf of the family of the late Isabell Morefield Carrier. So many times our mother talked about their childhood and being raised on "Wild Cat" mountain near Big Stone Virginia. The most memorable stories is how Kat, although a very young person herself, fully accepted the responsibility of caring for herself and the other five siblings when their Mother passed away unexpectedly. Had it not been for the love and devotion to her younger siblings, they most likely would not have survived to enjoy the blessed lives they all were able to grow to achieve. What a wonderful start to a legacy in Kat's life only most of you have enjoyed and can share. We were all blessed to have her as an Aunt and will always remember her for the love and kindness she showed not only to us but to all who ever came to know her...Family, Friends, and even complete strangers. A woman who loved her heavenly father and served him in so many ways throughout her life. It provides us such peace knowing the promise of our God, she now resides with him forever. As the words of our Lord says in the King James Version; 2 Timothy 4:7-8:
(7) I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:
(8) Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.
May God richly bless each of you and give you peace trusting in God's Grace.
