Kathleen Ann Sklut's Obituary
Kathleen “Kathy” Sklut age 66 of Algonac, MI passed away June 30, 2025 in her home. She was born November 5, 1958 in Bloomfield, MI to the late Richard and June (Small) Beard. She married Greg L. Sklut on August 25, 1995 in Detroit, MI.
Kathy was a member of AA at the Trintiy United Methodist Church of Algonac where she became a mentor to many people. She enjoyed flowers, gardening, traveling in her motor home, boating and playing golf, and she really loved her “Pugs”.
Mrs. Sklut is survived by her husband Greg, son-in-law Miles Carlson, sister Jan (Dennis) Morgan, brothers-in-law Jim (Cindy) Sklut, Bill Sklut, and Joe (Dee) Sklut, sisters-in-law Jennifer (Dave) Delinski and Charlotte (Bob) Calvery, nephews and nieces Mike, Chris, Christina, Ray, Phil, Jimmy, Paige, and Laurin. She was preceded in death by her daughter Kelly Kristine Mueller in 2024.
A celebration of life will be held from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with a memorial service at 12:00 Noon, Tuesday July 15, 2025 at Greg and Kathy's residence 1422 St. Clair River Dr/. Algonac, MI 48001. Casual dress is suggested. Arrangements by the Young Gilbert Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Algonac. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested to the St. Clair County Community Mental Health Authority, 3111 Electric Ave. Port Huron, MI 48060
