Some 50 years ago while I was on patrol for Clinton Township I received a radio run to 15 mile and Gratiot to back up a sheriff deputy who had stopped a group of outlaw motorcyclists who were traveling south on Gratiot. When I arrived, I found Larry, alone, collecting drivers licenses and running vins on the choppers. I don’t remember the dispositions but at least two bikes were towed. Deputy Duda wasn’t going to let these guys ride through his county unchecked.
